DC/DC VOLTAGE CONVERTERS

The Orion is a DC-DC voltage converter providing a stabilised output. Because most low-voltage equipment is designed for 12Vdc Victron Energie also supplies units which convert from 24-12Vdc.

In addition, 12-12V and 24-24Vdc converters are available for applications requiring a highly stabilised voltage.

 
ISOLATING TRANSFORMER

Victron Energie now supplies an isolating transformer to prevent earth leakage.
The isolating transformer ensures that the power system supplied by the shore supply and the on board system are completely isolated from one another.

As standard this is supplied with a soft start circuit to prevent the shore power fuse blowing.

 
AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCHES

The Mainsmanager is a fully automatic switchover device to ensure that all 230V equipment can be safely switched over and reconnected.

The Filax is a super fast switchover device that can safely be used along-side computer type loads.
 
BATTERY ISOLATOR
Argo battery isolators are used in installations in which various batteries (eg. a start up battery and an accessory battery) can be charged independently of one another. The main advantage of using an Argo as opposed to a switch arrangement is that the Argo works automatically and does not spark.
